Free Student Tickets
Through the generosity of The Esperia Foundation and other donors, CAMA is able to offer tickets to select performances throughout each season. CAMA’s partners with music instructors, middle and high school educators, nonprofits, senior centers and other community liaisons to allow those who may not otherwise be able to attend a CAMA performance the opportunity to experience world-class classical music in Santa Barbara’s historic venues, The Granada and Lobero Theatres.

From CAMA’s 100th Season
As guests through CAMA’s free ticket outreach program, California Conservation Corps members along with District Director Mike Anderson attended a CAMA orchestral performance at The Granada Theatre. For most of the Corps members, this was their first experience of live classical music.
It’s hard to know what internal growth actually takes place when exposed to something so new.
Here are some good indicators.
- Everyone was super excited and just having a ball. They left in such a good mood and truly seemed to have enjoyed themselves.
- One Corps member said that he will not listen to his music the same again.
- We had a talk about how different music is ideal with coping with different emotions. Having a larger repertoire will allow variety, just like life needs variety.
- Several loved having the brochure to remember the experience and share with their families.
Thank you again!
Mike Anderson, Los Padres District Director San Luis Obispo/Santa Maria
